When I double click on my local drive, I get the open with window!

The problem usually happen when you double click on your local drive. A message just like the one shown below will appear. Before you try these steps, try to right click on drive and click on the “Explore” option. If that didn’t work for you follow these steps:

Windows Live Messenger Error 1000

This morning, I noticed that MSN Messenger is not working also I could run some videos on Windows Media Player 11. Anyway, when I checked my event log I got this error message:

“The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Windows Live Messenger ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: msnmsgr.exe, 8.5.1302.1018, 4717a53b, ddraw.dll, 5.3.2600.2180, 411096a0, 0, 00009751.”

How to enable Google Adsense with Kaspersky Internet Security

There are a lot of users including me who faced trouble trying to see Google Adsense Ads while they are using Kaspersky Internet Security. The reason for this is that Kaspersky’s Anti-Banner is blocking the script for Google Adsense Syndication. However, the solution for this problem is very simple and here are the steps to enable Adsense with KIS.

Step 1:

Open Kaspersly Internet Security Firewall Settings and click on Configure as shown in the image below:

I can not open my drive or flash memory, what should I do?

Many viruses create a new autorun.inf file for infected drives to run there executable files from autorun. However, antivirus software can kill the virus but they don’t delete the autorun file because it’s not a virus by itself. This is the way to delete autorun.inf and get rid of the problem.

Autorun.inf is a hidden and protected file by Windows Operating System, so first thing you have to go to Folder Options from Tools menu in My Computer:

You may not believe this but there still are lots of computer users that have no anti-virus program installed because they erroneously think that they will be spared from infection. Some don’t even know what a computervirus is!
